MASTERTON GUN CLUB.
A SPARROW MATCH. A nine-bird sparrow match was fired "by the Masterton Gun Club on Saturday la£t, and resulted in the stake being divided by Messrs E. Welch and D. McCalmont, each of whom killed seven birds. The scores wore as follow: E. Welch and D. McCalmont, 7 ; T. H. Harvey and W. Woolven, (L, R- King, B. Allen, and J. Harvev, o; R. Buick, H. Wooding, A. Toms," J. Whittaker, and D. McLachlan 4. Two others competed.
