DEATH FROM MISADVENTURE.
CHILD TAKES OVERDOSE OF ! WORM TABLETS. (By? Telegraph—Press Association.) , Last Night. .■ , The inquest "on ,the body of Edith* a; child who died after eating a quantity of j'Keating's Worm Tablets," was resumed on Saturday before Mr Oruick shanks, coroner. The evidence of the child's-mother was to the effect that she instructed the nurse who was attending her to pur T chase some worm tablets, and a box was procured. Theire were no directions on the box when the witness received it. She gave the child a tablet at intervals, and left the box on a dresser in har room. Later on the child, without her knowledge, obtained possession of the box and consumed some of its contents. The child did not complain of any pain next day, but early on the next morning became fearfully cold, and very ill, and Dr Ewat was called in. He prescribed for the child, and a temporary recovery took place, but a reI lapse occurred, and the child died. ! The coroner found that the child died I from inadvertently (taking an overdose of Keating's worm tablets, and subsequent exposure.
