A FIERCE FIGHT.
ON THE SIDES OF A CRATER. (SYDNEY "SUN" SPECIAL.) (Received Last Night. 6.30 o'clock.) LONDON, July 12. # A thousand Moro Islanders fortified the great cater on the extinct volcano of Bagsok. Seven hundred American troops end Philippine scouts, with machine guns, are trying to dislodge them. Fierce fighting has taken place on the precipitous sides of the crater.
