A NORTHERN LEAGUE GAME. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) ELTHAM, Last Night. The Northern League game, Taranaki v. Wanganui, played here to,dav, resulted in a win for Taranaki by 11 points to 2. Heavy rain made the ground very heavy and slippery, but a good display of football was given, the game beinj; as fast and clean as could he expected under the conditions prevailing. Just on the call of half time Siddles scored for Wnnganui from a mark by Callaghan. In the second half, Taranaki had the best of the play. Hooker got over and Malone converted. Kyle dribbled over from a forward rush, and Gernhoefer added another just before time, Malone failing with both, kicks.
