WEDDING.

DICK—LOZELL. A very pretty and interesting wedding was solemnised at the Presbyterian Church, Eketahuna, on Wednesday, July 2nd, when Isabel Lozell, third daughter of Mr and Mrs J. jS. Lozell, of Kaiparoro, was. joined in j :the bands of' wedlppk ;io James H. ' ft, Dick, third soli D. Dick, also of Kaiparoro. The Be v. A. T. Thompson, of- Masterton, officiated. The bride, who. was- giyen away by her "father, was attired in a~ charming dress of silkr-striped voile, richlv trimmed with silk lace and pearls. She wore the orthodox veil and orange blossoms, and carried a beautiful bouquet of lacapodium and chrysanthemums. She also wore—the gift of the bridegroom—a costlygold bangle set with amethysts and emeralds. She was attended by Mies Lily Snell and Miss Katie Lozell as bridesmaids, both looking svr-eet in radianta dresses, trimmed with silk lace. They both carried shower bouquets, and wore the bridegroom's gifts—a gold brooch. ,The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr Gordon Dick, as best man, and Mr Charles Lee- as groomsman. k The "Wedding March" was played byMiss Haswell as the bridal party left the church. A reception was held at Mrs Dowsetts' tea-rooms, where the usual toasts were honoured. The bride's travelling costume was a navy blue serge, and she wore a black beaver hat with- large black plumes. Mr and Mrs Dick afterwards left amid showeds of rice by express train for Wellington, where their honeymoon is to be spent. The numerous and costly presents received showed the popularity of the young couple. In the evening a number of people were entertained at a dance in the Kaiparoro Hall. Although in the evening it rained, it did not stop: the people from venturing out. Mr Jago made an efficient M.C. Dane, mime was supplied by Mrs . IJ.d.v, while extras were played by Miss E.. Morriss. Miss G.- Falkner. Miss J. Jago, Miss K. Lozell and Mr T. Edwards. A sumptuous supper was handed round, and three cheers were given for Mr and Mrs Lozell for the enjoyable time spent bv all. Cheers 'wore also given for Mr and Mrs Dick.
