MONTHLY MEETING. • The monthly meeting of the Masterton Trust Lands Trustees was held last evening, there being present: Messrs W. H. Jackson (chairman), R. Krahagen, T. Wagg, A. W. Hogg, A. J. McEwen, 0. Pragnell, D. Gaselberg, and C. E. Daniell. A letter was read from tho Town Clerk of Martinboj-ough, asking for information as to the cost of nmninpj a picture show, and for tflie scale of charges made.—lnformation supplied. Tho Pahiatua Town Clerk enquired the average number of nightg the Town Hall ig let to travelling companies.—lnformation supplied. !Mr G. Heron wrote, accepting tllie proposed rental, but asking for ian extension of his lease from fourteen to twenty-one years.—Dealt with by the Building Committee, which recommended that itihe period of the lease be extended to twenty-one years. The Rev. Father Harnett as],-™] for a grant for an agricultural plot at St. Patrick's School.—To be considered when the estimates are beintf dealt with. The _ Masterton Municipal Brass Band informed, the Trustees that the band ihiad given six public performances since March 31st, 1913. Accounts amounting to £232 7s 4d wero passed for payment.
