MR D. McLAREN RETIRES. (By Telegraph,.—Prev Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. At the Unity Congress this afternoon, the following 'letter was read from Mr David McLaren: — "As I shall not be able to support the constitution already adopted by the Congress, iifc would be mere pretence for me to stay and take part in the proceedings.— David McLaren." "The letter was received," says the official report, "witlh ironical cheering."
