TODAYS WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C; Bates, of the Meteorological office, last evening wired as follows: The barometer lias been very unsteady, mud the weatlher changeable, considerable rain falling on the West Coast and: in Southland. Strong westerly winds have , predominated, bub eoutherlies have ruled in Foveaux Strait. Present indications are for moderate to strong southerly winds generally, with cold and showery weather. ' The barometer shows a rising tendency, )>ut is still unsteady.
