Despite the inclemency of the weather a large and entlmsiaistic audience | wore present to witness the change j of programme at the T.P. Electric Theatre last evening, when the star iteai wa» a 3000 footer entited "In the Bouse of Impostors." The plot Wats interesting and intricate, and dealt in :x small way with white slave traffic, showing the ensnaring of a girl-and the numerous trials she encountered whilst in the hands of un-sa-upulous niercliianta. "A Mistaken Calling" was an Essaaiey comedy drama which proved both interesting a,nd amusing. It introduced a city romance, in whioh a cook, who had a "bobby" for her sweetheart, saw a notice in the newspaper which pointed, out that some persons miss their vocation in life, and advised readers to consult a certain professor who would enlighten them as to their proper vocation. On consulting this personage, the cook was informed ttoaifc she possessed great poetical powers, and from here on the story keeps up a humorous and interesting strain. Two very fine dramas featuring children'were shown in the : Selig Company's "Guardians of their Hearts," and in "A Mother Awakened," a Rex production. A replaj6e drama was shown in place of "As the -Fates Decree," which will be shown to-night, not having arrived in time to -show list night. Several interesting comedies included "Why the Cat Returned," and "Bella's Beau." A New Zealand special film provided a most interesting item, as it showed the recent mil way Fraa-ih <it New Lynn, Auckland, and disclosed the existence of an. Ostrich .Farm at Pukekehe near Auckland, a rapt wliicti. proves ?■> surprise to many. This series wiil be repeated this evening, when another large audience should result,
