NEW IE'AtAKD FORECAST. ' ;r. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. I>. C. Bates, of the Meteorological office, last evening wired as follows: The weather lias been generally dull, and rain'has, fallen in most parts of the Dominion. The winds have been variable, with westerly breezes predominating. The barometer has been very unsteady, with a falling -tendency. Present* indications are for cloudy, misty and unsettled weather, with rain generally. Conditions are still threatening, for further westerly.low pressure is apparently due to pass, over the country before a decided rise in the barometer takes place. Strong west to south-westerly winds: are prob3ible generally." :
