DETAILS OF ALLOCATION.
LIBERAL ALLOWANCES. ~
(Received Last Night, 11.30 o'clock.) i LONDON, July 8.
The Mansion House Committee has allocated the Scott Fund. Lady Scott receives £BSOO, Peter Scott (her > son) £3500, Caotain Scott's mother and two sisters~£6ooo, Mrs Wilson £BSOO, Mrs powers and her two daughters £4500, Mrs Evans and her children £1250, Lieut. Evans' mother £250, Mrs Brissendeti and child £750, and Mrs Abbott £750. Various amounts have been vested in the Public Trustee. Lady Scott'g amount, in the event of her death, reverts to her 6on, Peter. The Committee will pay £SIOO, the estimated deficit on the Expedition, and has assigned £17,500 towards the publication of the scientific results of the expedition and £lß*ooo towards providing a memorial at St. Paul's aad sculptured bronze figures of the five dead in Hyde Park. The balance of the fund (estimated at £10,000) will be devoted to future Polar research. As Lieut. Oates' relations do not require assistance, the Committee will contribute towards a regimental .memorial
