NO REAL BATTLE YET. POSITION OF THE POWERS. Received This Morning, 12.45 o'clock. LONDON, July 8. ' Information received in London asserts that the whole story of the battles and desperate resistance is much exaggerated, and that nothing like a real battle has yet occurred. The "Telegraph" states that it is useless to attempt any estimate of the actual situation. Its Vienna correspondent denies tbJfc the Powers have arrived at any general agree-" ment for non-intervention. While Austria is anxious to support the Powers she decline^to give an understanding,, notr'to""intervene, —.because her interests may at any moment be affected.
OTTOMAN TROOPS.
PREPARING TO ADVANCE. Received This Morning 12.45 o'clock. CONSTANTINOPLE, July 8. The Porte has telegraphed M. Daneff, requesting the evacuation of the Emos-Midia line. Preparation are proceeding for the advance of Ottoman troops.

The newspaper Neue Freie Presse's Sofia correspondent states, that General Ivanoff had.not expected an attack from the "scattered bulk of- the Greek army of eight thousand, under King Constantino's, command.
