■ (By Tdegraphr-Yrm Associaiwii.) ' THAMES Last Nighi The Hon. Dr Pomare, representing the Native race on the Executive Council, accompanied by the Hon. Nichols, met with a cordial reooption at the hands' of the Natives of Hauraki. They we're welcomed in Native fashiop., and both were congratulated on the honour conferred upon them. T>r Pomare to-day met representative Native chiefs, and discussed the Native question with them, explaining the legislation of 1909. The land question generally was also dealt with, and interesting information given the representatives present. The Minister and the Hon. Mr Nichols left to-night for Wellington.
