MARGARINE.
OBJECTION TO COLOURING. (Received July 1, 1.30 p.m.) LONDON, June 30. Sir George Reid (High Commissioner for Australia) introduced to Mr Walter Runciman (President of the Board of Agriculture) a deputation from the butter trade requesting the prohibition of colouring of .-margarine. The Hon. T. Mackenzie (New Zealand High Commissioner) supported the deputation's request. Mr Runciman promised to consult the Local Government Board.
