LABOUR AT REEFTON.
MR P. HALLY'S OPINION, CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. Mr P. Hally, Conciliation Commissioner, who has just returned from Reefton, practically confirms Mr Pryor's statement regarding the shortage of labour in the Heefton district. He states that Mr Lee, general secretary of the Big River and other Companies", told him that at present every man capable of handling a pick and shovel is given employment at Reefton.
