DISTRICT AWARDS.

WELLINGTON, Last Night.
The Plumbers' Board decided uipon a basis of districts in which sanitary plumbing shall be done by registered plumbers, and a draft is now being prepared of « method for simplifying registration. Itwaa decided that the minimuTi examination qualification allow'ed'by the Act, that of -grade 1, of the City and Guilds of London Institute, be approved, and raised, six months after gazetting, negotiations to that to be prescribed to the board's own examination. The board is obtaining information regarding the standard of plumbing examine tions in Sydney and Melbourne. The board also considered the need for granting permits and for requiring registered plumbers to nbtify changes of addresses within 14 days.
