MASTERTON STOCK SALE. Messrs W. and G. Turnbull and Co. Ltd. (late James Macintosh .and Co.), report having held their usual weekly salo in the Waipoua sale yards (Mas tor ton) on Wednesday, June 25th, 1913, when they offored a yarding of sheep well above advertised numbers, which wore well competed for, and the whole yarding were sold under the hammer. The cattlo entry was a small one, business at auction being very dull and only a few lots changed hands. The prices realised were as follows: —Fat wethers 19a 4d, forward store wethers 17s 9d, small 2-tooth wethers 13s to 13s 6d, fat and forward lambs 12s 6d, fat eww 14s Id, woolly forward Jamba 10s 3d, black face lambs 10s 3d, small black face lambs 6s 6d, store ewes 8s lid, 2-tooth ewe s in lamb 13s 6d, sound mouth ewos in lamb 13b 3d, cull lambs 4s 9d. Cattle: Springing cows £4 10s, springing heifers £5 10s, empty heifors £2 10s to £3.
WOOL AM) SKIN SALE. Messrs Levin and Co. report:—Wo held our usual wool, skin and hide sale to-day, when we submitted a. catalogue of 50 bales and 100 bags of wool, 2200 sheepskins, 120 hides and calf skins, and a quantity of horse hair and rabbit skins and tallow. There was the usual attendance of buyers, and prices realised were on a par with later market rates. Wo quote :
Wool.—Coarse crossbred 8d to 9id, dead 8d to Bjd, crutchings <best) 8d to BJd, medium 7,} d to 73d, inferior and seedy 4d to 7Jd, pieces 5Jd to 7d, locks 43d, lambs 9|d. Sheep skins.—Best crossbred BJd, medium and inferior 7d to B|d, halfwools 6id -to BJd, quarter-wools 6id to Bd, shorts 4Jd to 7Jd, pelts 4sd to s|d, lambs (best) 8d to Bsd, inferior 4id to 7*d, hoggets 6Jd to 7sd, dead 7sd, green crossbred to 6s 9d, green IwJf-wools to ss, green quarter-wools, 9s Id.
Hides.—Ox 7*d to 7 7-Bd, oow (good) 7 l-8d to 7 5-Bd, cow (cut and slippy) 6 7-Bd, calf Ud to 10id. Tallow.—Casks 27s 3d, tins 22s 3d to 23s 9d, sacks 17s 9d. Horsehair. —Is 5d to Is 7d.

The W.F.C.A. report:—We held our usual sale of wool, skins, hides, etc., yesterday, tho 25th inst. The"P»i was a fair attendance of buyers,' and ; prices realised were woll up to the ruling market rates. 1 ' We offered--2090 sheepskins, 20 bales and 70 bags of wool, GO hides, 100 calf skins, and ■.l quantity of tallow, horse hair and rabbit skins, everything being cleared. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on their Solway sale as follows: —We offered a fair yarding of sheep and a medium entry of cattlo to a good attendance of buyers. In sheep our principal entry was a particularly nice line of 330 woolly hoggets which were offered bn account of Mr F. Brookes. These were yarded in good order and realised top price for tho year, being sold at 12s 6d. In cattle our principal entry was a line of 47 fat cows, on account of Mr H. T. Hume, "Aohanga," which wa s sold at £6 to £6 18s. The following is a list of prices:—Sheep: Medium hoggets 9s, good woolly hoggets to 12s 6d, empty ewes 8g 9d to 10s, fat and forward ewes 15s. Cattle: Fat cows £6 to £6 18s.
PAHIATUA STOCK SALE. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report:—We offered an average yarding of both sheep and cattle. The demand and value s were on a par with those of last week, and we made practically a total clearance of all the sheep and cattle: Quotations: Fat ewes 16s, empty ewes 7s 6d to lis od, forward-wethers 16g 4d, medium lambs 7s 6d:to 9s 3d, small lambs 3s to 4s 7d, dairy cows.-£4 12s. 6d to £6 17s 6d, cows in calf £2' 12s 6d to £3 15s, empty cows £2 Is to £3 3s 6d, springing heifers to £6.
MASTERTON STOCK SALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report: W >; submitted a very fair entry of sheep to a good attendance of buyers. Competition was hardly so keen as at the previous sale but we managed to make a good clearance. Woolly lambs made from 9s to 10s 4d, shorn do. 8s to 9s 6d, cull lambs to 5s lid. JOHNSONVILLE STOCK SALE. JOHNSONVILLE, Last Night. Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Johnsonvill■> stock sale as follows: A good entry of prime bullocks and sheep came forward. Both bullocks and sheep of e;ood quality have lately been selling at advanced rates. Prime bullocks £ll 5s to £ll 12s 6d. lighter do £lO 10s to £ll, light do. £9 15s to £lO os. A line of extra mime vealevs sold at from £2 8s to'£2 15s to"£3 10s.
