Industries and Commerce lias r coined the following cablegram fro.,i the High Commissioner for New Zealand, dated London, 21st June, 1913, (Quotations, unless otherr.ise specified, are average market prices Oa spot):— . •• Mutton.—The 4harket is firm* There is no change in prices. Canterbury, 4Jd per.- Jb; light weight ak high as 4|d; North Island, 4|d. Lamb.—Offerings are very large. Tb? market is weaker. Prices havo declined with the exception' of fours. Canterbury twos, 6|d ptr lb; heavy weight fours, o-Jd; other than Canterbury, s|d to 6d according to weight; light weight as high as 6*d. Be?f.—The market is firm. New Zealand hinds, 3£d per lb; fores, *Hd. Large supplies of chilled beef a -, p coming fnnvard, but prices are fryer. Him'. , !|d per lb; fores, Butter. —The market is steady. A ! g.> 1 demand continues for choicest New Zealand and Australian. There is no change in prices excepting for Danish, which has advanced Is -Id per cwt. Australian, exceptionally, per cwt., 110s; choicest New Zealand, 112s ; Danish, 121s. Cheese.—There 13 a good demand for cheese. The market is firmer. Recent shipments of cheese are of better quality than # previous ones. Approximately estimated decrease June make Canadian cheese 16 pexcent. New Zealand white, jper cwt., 61s (3d; coloured, 59s 6d. Canadian, new make, white and coloured, 59 a | 6d to 60s 6d.
