MOVEMENT IN BRITAIN
(Received this morning 12.45 o'clock.) LONDONj June 23.
A comnittee, including Lords Grey, Plymouth, Rothschild and Cowdray, is appealing for funds to celebrate the peace oentenary, similar to the movements in Canada and the United States
The British Committee proposes to place a memorial in Westminster Abbey, and to purchase Sulgrase Manor, the ancestral home of tho Washington family. It is also proposed to found .1 professorship in Anglo-American history. It is estimated that the wholf movement will cost £60,000.
