SHOCKING FATALITY.

MAN KILLED BY A TRAIN AT WOODVILLE. (By Telegraph. — Press Association.) WOODVILLE, Last Night. An elderly man named Alf Symonds, was run into by the seven o'clock train to Palmerston to-night, and was killed outright; He had been working all day shifting coal at the gasworks, and was going home along the railway line. The accident happened just outside Woodville. The deceased was aged about 65 years. He leaves a widow and two daughters, both married.
