WEDDINGS.

DURRY—BIBHOP. A pretty wedding was celebrated in St. Matthew's Church, Masterbon, yesterday, when Mr Thomas 'Durryy son of Mr T. Durry, of Invercargill. was united to Muss Ruby Myrtle Bishop, eldest daughter of Mr W. Bishop, of Pal-nerston North. The bride was attired in a handsome white, silk dress, with the usual veil and orange blossoms, and, carried a beautiful bouquet. The chief bridesmaid was Miss Hazel Bishop, who wore a pretty dress of white Bilk vodle, ami carried a bouqifefc of pink roses and maiden-hair fern. The other bridesmaids were the Misses Margaret and Flossie Bishop, who were attired in white hailstone muslin; and carried baskets of flowers. Tne bride wa* given away by her father. Mi- Joseph Jackson, of Palmerston North, acted as best man, and Mr W. Bishop (brother of the bride) as v grooms-nan. The Rev. H. Watson conducted the marriage ceremony, at the conclusion of which a large number of guests were entertained at breakfast in the Arcadia tea rooms. A la.rge number of costly wedding presents were received. The newly-married couple left for Dunedin by the,afternoon train on their honeymoon tour. The bride's travelling costume was a navy blue tailor-made, with black hat, I trimmed with cream ostrich feathers.

DAUBNEY—HENBY. ,At St. Paxil's Churoh, Wangaaui, on Tuesday, Miss Mabel Henry was married to Mr George Daubney, of Masterton. The Her. J. D. McKenzie officiated, and the service was fully choral. The bride's dress was of white chiffon crepe, and she wore an embroidered veil (the gift of a friend) and wreath of orange blossoms. Miss Mary Henry (aster of the bride), was the attendant maid, and her gown was white crepe-de-chine, and large black velvet hat, witli creme roses arid foliage. She wore a necklet set with amethysts, the gift of the bridegroom. Mr Frank Stone was best man. • Mr and Mrs Daubney left for Masterton by the eonth train, the bride travelling in a navy costume and a smart black velour hat, and wore the bridegroom'e gift, a handsome set of black furs.
