It is a thrilling story of military intrigue, with Saharet in the leading role. An officer in a Continental > army determines to procure copies of the fortification plans ©f a neighbouring Power. With the aid of hie sweetheart ho succeeds, but only after a serie s of stirring events. Th© drama is lavishly mounted, a ball-room scene being specially effective. The plot is developed, amidst 6 ensational incident and gorgeous surrounding, by one of the most capable companies of Continental artist*. It is a picture that has created a furore in England and elsewhere, and should attract a bumper house in Masterton. Supporting this magnificent military drama are two dramas of more than ordinary in-

terest. "An Affair at Raynors" is an Edison production with unique surroundings. It tells the story of a lady stenographer who holds up a desperate clerk when in the act of robbing the safe of his employers. "The Awakening of Bianca" is a Vitagraph drama which reveals the refined intensity of Italian love, and the tragedy of disappointment. The humorous films are of the side-split-ting order, while Pathe's Australian Gazette is, as usual, full of interest. An excursion on the Marazella railway reveals some of the beauty spots of the world, and produces scenic effects that are really marvellous. Picturelovers ' should remember that this varied, interesting and brilliant programme can be shown in Masterton for one night only, and that night ie to-night.
