TO BE INTRODUCED IN LOWER HOUSE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. '* Asked to-day if it wa s intended to introduce the Legislative Council jBil! Wfo tie IJpper House this session, as was done last year, the Prime Minister replied in the negative. The Bill would, he said, be introduced in the House of Representatives, It VvaS 6nS of the" twenty policy measures which the Government would have ready for Parliament when the session opened. It was in an advanced stage of preparation, and needed only the final approval of Cabinet. Mr Massey said .the principle of large electorates would bo retained, butj, each Island might possibly be subdivided for the purposes uf representation.- The next appointments to the Council would probably be announced in the Governor's Speech.
