PARLIAMENTARY VISITORS.
A cable received last week conveyed the information that a delegation from the Empire Parlia-nentary Association proposes leaving England next month on a visit to Australia, travelling via Vancouver. In view of recent political developments at Home, however, it is.just questionable whether it will be possible to make the proposed tour. Should it eventuate, there can be no doubt that many -misconceptions concerning overseas aspirations and policies will bo removed, and that the delegation will be impressed with iho possibilities of enormous colonial expansion. In the meantime, as the delegates will call at Auckland, en route to Australia, it is to be hoped that the Government will make arrangements for a> tour of this Dominion. Wo cannot afford to allow this opportunity of advertising our country to pass. As Mr Allen has pointed out since his return from England, the exchange of visits from statesmen of different parts of the Empire must be attended with immense advantage to all concerned.
