SIR CURTIS BENNETT'S STATEMENT. DENIAL BY WOMEN'S POLITICAL LEAGUE. (Received Last Night, 8.10 o'clock.) LONDON, June 6, The Women's Social and Political Union deny that any of their members attempted to throw Sir Curtis Bennett, the Bow Street Magistrate, who recently died suddenly, over a cliff at Margate.

LONDON, June 5
Mr Winston Churchill presided at Commander Evans' first public Antarctic lecture at the Queen's Hall. Though Mr Churchill spoke for only a few minutes, six Suffragettes were ejected for interrupting him. ACTION FOR DAMAGES. (Received Juno 6, 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, June 5. The insurance companies, through the West End firms affected, have sued the Pethick Lawrences Mrs Pankhurst, and Miss Christabel Pankhurst and Mrs Tuke, before the King's Bench for damages for trespass and breakage of plate glass during the recent raid, which was the result of conspiracy in connection with the Women's Social and Political Union. The case was adjourned.
