THOMPSON-PAYNE PICTURES. "IN THE HOUR OF NEED."

Last night saw a large and very enthusiastic gathering at the T.P. Electric Theatre, where the programme shown .proved popular with everyone, "in the Hour of Neod," a 3UQO foot Nordisk feature play, ' graced the head of the bill and received well-merited appreciation. The story, which is superbly mounted, shows the 'trials of a soldier's wife She has the misfortune to resemble a great actress. Both happen to attend a performance at the same time. The theatre catches fire and the actress perishes, while the wife loses her memory, and is taken away and cared for by a baron, to whom the actress was betrothed, and who mistakes madam for his fiancee, the resemblance being so striking. Moanwhile madam's parents and husband grieve for her as dead. A very vivid story gives the trials of the poor wife and of Tier recovery of memory. Her memory recalls home v and its happiness, and she rcpm her guardian's clutohes and for home, which is only reached ¥reer a very, trying time.
