{By Telegraph.—Frets A ttociation.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. At a meeting of the New Zealand Sheepowners' Federation to-day, tie following resolution was adopted:— "That thi s conference of the representatives of the New Zealand Sheepowners' Federation has noticed with much regret that the Union Steam Ship Oompany has again employed exclusively members of the Federation of Labour at Timaru, thus ignoring the Waterside Workers' Union recently formed there, and registered under the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, and being in -opposition to a statement made by Sir James Mills that the right® of free labour would l be respected. This conference is of opinion that such a course of action jb opposed to the beet interests of the produoer B of the Dominion."
