AUCTION BY CANDLE. A WOMAN'S UNUSUAL PROFESSION. I Permission to carry on her dead husband's profession, and consequently become the first .woman bankruptcy receiver in Germany, has just been granted to Frau Rub, of Livndshut, Bavaria. Fran Rub studied for this unusual woman's profession under her husband, and when qualified, became his partner, as well as a chartered accountant in. her own name.
