IN NEW ZEALAND. QUESTION IN HOUSE OF COMMONS. (Received May 29, 8 a.m.) LONDON ,May 28. In the House of <jommons next Monday, Sir William Byles, Liberal M.P., will ask Colonel Seely, Secretary of State for War, whether boys are being prosecuted im New Zealand at the rate of two hundred a week for breaches of conscription, and whether owing to the conscription movement in Britain, he will issue a statement as to how the system is working in the Dominion.
ANGLICAN SYNOD RESOLUTION BENEFTciAL SYSTEM. (Received May 29, 9.5 a.m.i NEWCASTLE, May 29. The Anglican Synod unanimously carried a resolution that in its opinion the compulsory training system is worthy of all support. The speakers expressed the opinion that tho system was beneficial to the country and to the youths.
