CARTERS' STRIKE, ('Received Mav 29, 9.5 a.m.) 'LONDON, May 28. A surprise strike of carters at Bradford has taken place, contrary to the leaders' advice. Two thousand strikers paraded the streets and prevented others fnm working. At Sheffield 3000 carters have gone out on strike, and 3000 at Bradford. At Falkirk 4000 iron moulders have been locked out.
