Lord Brassey, at the conclusion, praised the lecture, and paid a tribute to New Zealand's share ioi Empire defence, mentioning the satisfaction it must be to tne donors to be able to inspect the battleship NewZealand
Lord Plun&et, the Hon Thomas Mackenzie (High Commissioner for New Zealand), and fc»ir John Mr-Call (Agent-General for Tasmania) made felicitous speeches.
