RIFLE SHOOTING.
A service and trophy shoot was held by the Alfred,ton Rifle Club on Thursday, four ranges being shot in the 1 service shoot., including grouping, snapshooting, rapid fire and application. Two trophies wore given for these matches, W. A. Algie winning Mr J. George's trophy, and I). Parsonson winning tiro trophy given by Mr C. V. Spackman, saddler, Maurieeville. Ten shots were also fired at the 500 yards range, for a trophy given by Mr . E. Duckett, and this was won. by F. Percy. The scores were as follow: —
