TO-DAYS WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. WELLINGTON, Last NightTie Rev. D. 0. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening wired as follows: — p Stormy weather lias been experienced about Foveaux Straits and south-west winds, strong to gale, at times in most parts oi the country. The winds have decreased during the day, and moderate to strong westerlies now prevail, with unsettled weather on the West Coast and northern and southernmost districts. The barometer has been very unsteady, rising and falling again everywhere. Present indications are for moderate to strong westerly winds, squally at times, with the weather cool ' and changeable generally, and showery on the West Coast and southern districts. The barometer is unsteady under the influence of atmospheric disturbances, off the coast of New South Wales and southward of the Dominion.
