TWO NATIVES AFFECTED

Two sick Natives were brought into town on Saturday who were considered by a medical man who saw them, to be in a condition justifying a suspicion of small pox. They were despatched to the hospital for treatment in the isolation ward. but. though they presened themselves at the hospital entrance, they bolted when directed, where to go. It is supposed they have returned to their homes at Manga kali ia. The health inspector has gone in pursuit and the Health Officer a.t Auckland is expected to arrive to-morrow.
