"FATHER."
The "Father" season, at tlie T.P. Electric Theatre dram to a close this evening. The big audiences seen at this popular house of entertainment were unanimous in their opinions of "Father." To-night is the last opportunity affordpd of seeing this cinematograph triumph, and when we remember the Italian Henry Irving, is in the leading part, we can understand the perfect and natural acting which is the key-note of the production. In reviewing "Father," one is inclined to totally forget, the remainder of tiie programme, which, Ihowever, i s particularly strong. There is another 3000 feet photo-play entitled "The Power of Love." The name is the same as a film T.P. screened some twelve months ago, but this one } is by a different company, and there is no connection whatever as regards the story unfolded by the two pictures. The comedy, "Wanted, a Practice," is worth going to see, and the other items of the programme each have their own soupoon of .merit*. For Wednesday's change, a sequel to "The Seiret' Treaty" has been secured, named "The Stolee Treaty." Another 3000 feet photo-drama included is "Between Life and Death." »
