DEPARTURE FOR LYTTELTON
(By Telegraph.—Fre-is Association.) AUCKLAND, Last Night. After a stay of ten days at Auckland, H.M.S. New Zealand left at 9 o'clock yesterday morning for Lyttelton. A fair number of people gathered to see the vessel off; but as she returns, to Auckland before leaving finally, there wasfno formal.demonstration, of farewell.
DELAY IN REACHING LYTTtEL-
CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night
To-day at 1 15p.m., H. M. S. Pvranius, now at Lyttelton, receiv-ed the following wireless message from H.M.S. New Zealand: "Please inform all concerned that we shall probably not arrive in time to come up the harbour to-morrow forenoon.," The harbour excursions to the heads arranged for to-morrow morning, have consequently been postponed.
