NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D. C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening wired as follows: The .barometric pressure is still considerably below normal, and very unsteady. Cold, squally and showery weather has been experienced in most parts of the country, and -southerly winds have predominated. Seas arc heavy southward of Castlepoint. Present indications are for unsettled, cold amd showery weather..■■. Strong south to south-easterly ■ winds will probably prevail. The barometer is very unsteady, but should soon vis: everywhere, and prove high in tlx south for a short time.
