HOKSE SALE. Mosii's Jas. Macintosh and Co. report having held a fairly successful horse sale in their Waipona (Masterton) sale yards on Saturday, May 3, 1913, w>]ien tliey offered a small yarding of 34 horses. Owing to the'boisterous weather a. largo number entered did not come forward. The re wa s a good attendant of buyers, and bidding was brisk throughout the sale, especially for all sorts irf draughts,-but hacks and harness sorts were hard to quit, but for all that we sold 26 of Hie entry. Prices realised are as follows:—3 yvar draught filly £37, 3-year draught gelding £29 10>\ 3-year medium draught geldings £l4 to £ls 10s, 3-year medium draught filly and foal £,12 10s, 2-yesr old modinm draught filly and geldings £5 10s, £l3 to £l4, harness mares and geldings AG to £ll 10s, Lacks £5 1* to £B, old hack* £1 5s to £4 10s.
