LONDON WOOL SALES. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Wellington, have received cabled advice from their London office, dated 29th April, as follows: —"The wool gales continue animated. For good sliafty merino combing wools, prices are rather 'higher. New Zea.la.nd merino heavy, earthy and wasty in condi-: >tion, prices are lower. For New Zealand scoured merino and half-bred wools, prices are rather higher." ■

Competition was good, however, for all lines, prices realised being highly ■satisfactory. The following is a, list of prices: Gull lambs 5s 3d!, medium lambs 6s 6d rto 6s lid, empty owes 10s Id, mixed aged ewes in lamb to 10s lid.
