ENTERTAINED IN CANADA. THE "ALL RED" ROUTE. (Received Last Night, 8.-15 o'clock. 1 ) OTTAWA, May 2. The Hon Tarn s Allen, New Zea•kl Minister of Finanoe and ence, was the guest of the Parliamentary Association at a luncheon, ■it which the Speaker presided. The Chief Justice and others Mere present. The Hon M.r Sproule welcomed Mr Allen. Mr Borden, Prime Minister, referred to the great progress of New Zealand, in common with other portions of the Empire. A great task, he said, lay before the island Dominions. Sdr Wilfrid Laurier referred to the "All Red" steamship service, and expressed the hope that the Bordem Government would carry out th« .Tpheme. Direct lines between Vanch>uvoiV Austoalis, and New Zealand were absolutely hoAi-fisary, Mr Allen concurred with Sir Wilfrid Laurier concerning the necessity for steamships.
