TOWN HALL PICTURES.
There was an exceptionally large audience at the Town Hall last evening when the bi-weekly change programme was presented. The series was one of the best yet shown at the Town Hall, and included some of the most modern and up-to-date films yet introduced to "the Dominion. "TII6 Hindoo Curse," an interesting story of Indian life, was the star, itam, and .fully justified all the good things said of it. The colouring and setting of the piece were remarkably realistic, and. .the acting was altogether of a high order. "Bunny all at Sea" created a great deal of merriment, this clever artist being seen at liis very best. "Bobby's Father," a pathetic and realistic drama, portrayed in vivid colours the life of a burglar, and the influence his little son had upon him in preventing from committing further crime. "The ' Artist'y Joke" was a comedy in 'lighter vein, and depictc-d some remarkably humorous scenes. The remainder of the programme was well up to the standard, and completed nn entirely enjoyable programme. This series w'ill be screened again this evening, when all in search of the latest in picture photography should not fail to be present. The orchestra will again dispense the latest gems from the musical world, which adds not a little to the general enjoyment of the programme.
