SYSTEM INTRODUCED IN , .VICTORIA. (Received thifi morning 1.7 o'clock.) MELBOURNE, April 30. Systematic betting on football matches is being introduced to Victoria. Circulars have been issued, giving directions to persons wishing to bet, ranging from three to one to those selecting two winning teams, playing off their own grounds, to a hundred to one to tho.se selecting the winners of two home, five away matches, and one draw on the one afternoon. The promoter's name has not been disclosed, but it is understood the scheme wa s launched! in Sydney, and certain Melboiirnites have been asked to become agents.
