TO DAY'S WEATHER.
NEW ZEALAND FORECAST. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Rev. D., C. Bates, of the Meteorological Office, this evening wired as follows: The weather lias proved cloudy and Unsettled generally, with showers at times in most parts of the Dominion. Snow has fallen on the higher levels in the south, and the weather is generally colder. The barometer has fallen in the north, but is now rising in the south. Present indications are for southerly "winds, .strong to gale generally; very cold and stormy weather, with heavy showers, in most parts of the Dominion. The barometer will probably rise fast everywhere soon, and very high pressure may be expected to follow.
