IN SOUTH COAST MINES . WHEELERS ASK FOR REDUCED HOURS. /Received Last Nisrht, 8.45 o'clock.) SYDNEY, April 29. A meeting of lads working as wheelers at the Mt. Keira mine, decided to ask the whole of the wheelers in the South Coast mines to take united action, for the purpose of securing a reduction in the working hours from nine to eight daily. This development, coming just' when the miners were about to resume after the strike, has caused disappointment and consternation. Possibly the. miners will arrange to handle- the coal independent of the wheelers, who are not- members of the Union.
