A BILL INTRODUCED. (Received Last Night, 10 o'clock.) SAN FRANCISCO, April 28. Senator Thompson is drafting a law barring land ownership by those races which the Federal law declares ineligible. A Citizenship Bill will be submitted immediately Mr Bryan returns.

ON FRIENDLY TERMS. (Received Last Night, 10 o'clock.) WASHINGTON, April 25. President Woodrow Wilison. informed reporters that the attitude of the .) apanese Government was perfectly friendly, and remonstrances, couched in a tone of respectful' urgency for Mr Bryan's peace scheme to be placed before the Conference of Ambassadors and Ministers were made. Br Woodrow Wilson kter told newspaper men that the proposal would merely afford thinking space for the nations before war was declared, and would not bind any of them in any way. Mr Bryan decided to delete the paragraph providing for the suspension, of warlike preparations, while the Peace Court i s investigating such a point. The President thought it best to anange with the individxial nations.
