ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING. Tlie annua] general meeting of the Masterton Y.M.C.A. was held in the Association's rooms last evening, Mr J. Hunter occupying the chair. There was a very good attendance of members, and the annual report and audited balance-sheet were adopted. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as follows: President, Mr J. Hunter; vice-presidents, Messrs J. T. M. Hornsby, A. Hendry, Dr. Prior, Alex. Donald, C. ja<. Daniell and It. Sutherland; members' representatives, Messrs H .L. Pearse, A. E. Winzenberg and J. Hebenton; treasurer, Mr A. J. 'Miiufie; h<m. gen. secretary, Mr H. D. McHattie; as-sistant-secretary, Mr D. • Shoestnith ; auditors, Messrs E. H. Waddington and P. F. Watson. Votes of thanks for the good work done by them whilst connected with the Association were accorded to Mr G. Ealla, Mr and Mrs D. 13. Otough, and the retiring members of the Board. A special vote of thanks was accorded to the hon. secrtary (Mr H. D. McHattie) for the way in which he has carried out his dirties.
