RESULT OF AN INQUEST. (By Telegraph. — Press Association.) WATHI, Last Night. ■Evidence in connection with the Coroner's inquiry into the Talisman Mine fatality-at Karanahakc on 28th March last, by which two ,men, Thos. Mcßride and William Hyde, were killed as the result of a breakage of a wire rope, ocnchided last night. Tlu* jury brought im a verdict to the effect that the accident had ' been caused through the breaking of a wife rope which had become deteriorated, but that the evidence was not sufficient to show mcgli.gence. A rider was added that the ropes should be tested every three months.
