WEDDING.
ELOOATE—JAGO. A wedding in which considerable local interest was centred took place at St. Matthew's Church on Wednesday afternoon, when Miss Eileen Ada Jago, youngest daughter of Mrs M. H. Jago, of Mafiterton, was married to Mr Francis Heaton ISLcoate, son of the late Robert T. Elcoate, of Melbourne. The Rev. Herbert Watsou, vicar of St. Matthew's, officiated. The bride, who was given away by her 'brother, Mr W. S. Jago, wore a gown of white satin, draped with Honiton lace. Her tulle veil was worn over a bandeau of orange blossom and liily of the valley. The bride was attended by Miss Inez Herrmann (Wellington), and two little girls, Mies Alice Eton (her neice) and Miss Ulna James. The former woi*» ivory satin charmeuse, with-an overdress of lace, and touches of pale blue, with a hat of golden brown velours, with pale bine feather and a, bouquet of golden chrysanthemums. The latter wore white satin frocks, with fichus of white ninon, caught up with a. buncM of tiny pink rosebuds, and Jnliet caps. They carried quaint little posies of pale pink rose-buds, vedled with chiffon. Mr E. J. Brown acted as best man. After the ceremony a reception was iheld at the residence of Mr W. S. Jago, Essex Street. The bride went away in a mole doth costume, a grey felt hat with ostrich plumes,-and fox furs, the I gift of the bridegroom. TJie honeymoon is to be spent at Rotoanm.
