NEW POLICE STATION

A TENDER ACCEPTED. The tender of Messrs Taylor and Hodges has been accepted for the erection of a new police station in Masterton, and the work will be put in hand almost immediately. The amount of the tender was not. ascertainable yesterday, nor hare the number of tenders received for the work yet transpired. The building is to be erected at the-coiner of Hall and Chapel Streets, and will contain accommodation for a detective as well as the local police staff.
