PIERPONT MORGAN'S ESTATE. STRIKING CONCESSION OF FAITH (Received April 21, 835 a.m.) , NEW YORK, April 20. The late Mr Pierpont Morgan'* will does not state the, amount of his property. Mr Morgan, Junr., gets the residue, less twenty million dollars (£4,(XX),000) left for various family and charitable purposes. The great collection of works of art as left to> the son, with injunction to make premanent disposition thereof, if ho so wishes, and in such fashion as to best give instruction and pleasure to the American people. The deceased's wife gets an income of .5,000,000 dollars (£I,OOO,(XM in trust funds, with power to dispose of the capital sum at her death. She also gets the New York residence and a country residence. Three millions is left outright to Mr Morgan, Junr., and other larg» sums to the testator's sons-in-law and married daughters. The will opened with a striking confession of religious faith—the sufficiency of Christ's Atonement.
